I-765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION DOCUMENT (EAD)
The Form I-765 is a request for an Employment Authorization Document or commonly referred to as an “EAD” which is known as a work permit. If you will be in the U.S. temporarily and will need a job, you will have to file an EAD. The EAD is a proof of employment authorization, and immigrants who want to work must file the Form I-765. Once approved for EAD, the applicant will obtain their identification card which they will use towards their employment. If you have filed this form previously but have lost your EAD or are need of renewing, you should file from I-765. One of the common reasons why a Form I-765 is rejected is due to misidentifying eligibility. This form is quite complicated and identifying which category of eligibility you are filing under is difficult. At Tsang & Associates, we assist you with the filing of your Form I-765 with filling it out, processing it, and adding supporting documents.
